12 years old is the minimum age for a Taster session and 14 years old for a Guided tour.

If we are fully booked on your chosen date or the time does not work for you, then please contact us as we can sometimes fit you in on another session with extra boards and instructors.

We also now have the option to use a nearby Lake for our Taster sessions, please email us for more info.

We suggest that you bring with you swimwear for the warmer months, a wetsuit for the cooler months and footwear (Wetsuit boots, Water shoes or old trainers) and a towel or dry robe for when the session has finished.

During the summer remember to bring and use sun cream & something to drink - a bottle of water can be stored on the front of the paddle board under the bungie straps.

If you need to wear glasses or sunglasses, we recommend you bring with you & use a retaining strap.

Wetsuits can be hired at £6 each.

You can hire a wetsuit priced at £6 each.

We do not supply wetsuit boots or gloves, so suggest you bring your own. Beach shoes or old trainers can be used instead of wetsuit boots in the summer.

Gift Vouchers can be purchased by visiting our Lessons & Tours page and choosing a Gift Voucher'where you have the option to buy a Taster Session or Guided Tour Voucher, you also have the option to purchase a Value voucher instead which can go towards any activity.

Please note: in the event of a cancellation that is requested by a customer, and not the fault of the business, refunds will be minus any transaction fees incurred.

In the event of a cancellation, North Norfolk Paddleboards refunds:

100% with over 4 weeks notice (minus booking fee)

75% within 4 weeks notice (minus booking fee)

50% within 2 weeks notice (minus booking fee)

No refund within a week.

Whereby North Norfolk Paddleboards cancel a Tour or Lesson due to weather conditions not permitting. The customer will receive a full refund or where available be offered an alternative day.

Our lessons are designed for the absolute beginner. We have a safety brief and go through the basics on-land before launching onto the water. We start by kneeling down, learn to steer the board and proceed to standing when you’re ready. It’s easier than you think!

A basic level of paddleboarding is required (Ability to stand, paddle, turn and remount the board after a fall.), which you may have gained from one of our 'Taster Sessions', or a similar course elsewhere or perhaps other proven experience in paddle sports. The minimum age is 14 to go on one of our Guided Tours.

Participants must be able to swim 50m unaided.

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The minimum age is 12 years old for a Taster Session and 14 years old for a Guided Tour.

Our Taster Sessions are 2 hours long and our Guided Tours are 3 hours long.

We don't do Kayaks, so try our friends at  

The Boathouse here in Burnham Overy Staithe who rents out single & double kayaks
